Five things we are working toward: Strengthen the spirit of sharing knowledge, and social responsibility, among young people. Provide realistic hands-on learning opportunities for students who have not yet graduated. Build a network of mentors and learners grounded in human and Islamic values. Create a self-sustaining cycle where the learner becomes the mentor for those who follow. Connect students to real market experience through mentorship, guidance, and carefully chosen resources.

What do we expect from a student?

Seven things, and none of them are about how much you already know: Commitment: attend sessions on time, respect deadlines, and tell your mentor in advance if you cannot make it. Seriousness: come with a real motivation to learn, prepare before each session, and engage properly during it. Willingness to grow: take feedback well, keep working on your skills, and ask for help without embarrassment. Respect for the mentoring relationship: respect your mentor's time and effort, be courteous, and keep what is shared private. Helping the programme succeed: give regular feedback, join group activities, and encourage others. Clear goals: have something you are working toward, and share it with your mentor so they can help properly. Building independence: learn to research, experiment and progress on your own. Mentorship is support and direction, not permanent instruction.

What can I do with the certificate?

Rushd mentors give priority to people who hold it. When one of them has to choose between a Rushd applicant and anyone else, for an event or a job opening, the certificate is what tells the two apart.
